Certified Training Center

New Madrid County Ambulance District offers a variety of training  courses that keep our EMTs and Paramedics up to date on certifications. Within our district, we have five training officers as well as a protocol committee who keep us on target with the most current best practices and certification standards.

NAEMT Training Center

We are a National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians Training Center, providing the following courses for our EMS staff.

  • Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC)
  • EMS Safety
  • EMS Vehicle Operator Safety (EVOS)

State of Missouri

We’re also an official Training Entity of the state of Missouri for:

  • First Responder Training

US Department of Transportation

Through the federal level, we offer:

  • Traffic Incident Management (TIM)

American Heart Association Classes

We partner with St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau to offer the following cardiac-focused classes:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support/CPR (BLS)
  • Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
